Manufacturing

Benson Industries’ production of upscale cabinetry is achieved through a combination of experienced employees and precision production systems.

This commitment to professionalism exists throughout the company.

For example, when Benson Industries uprooted its entire operation to move into the current plant, the company did not lose a single day of production.

Sheets of wood, custom-milled lumber, composites and veneers are delivered daily to the receiving bay at the south side of the factory. From the north end, daily shipments of finished cabinetry leave the factory for installation in luxury developments.

As a semi-custom producer of cabinetry, Benson Industries simultaneously produces cabinets to match different specifications. Each set of component parts moves through the assembly process in an individual stream, from cutting to assembly.

Standardization of case components reduces cost while retaining customization of door and drawer fronts. Previous production runs have utilized German-made door fronts, soft-close mechanisms and glass-inset doors.

Paint, lacquers and varnishes are applied in sealed application booths. Coated panels areconveyed through drying and curing ovens, ready for assembly.

Environmental systems keep the air and work space clean, unobtrusively removing fumes and waste.
